Okavango delta

One of the seven natural wonders of Africa

The Okavango River forms the swampy inland delta worldwide know as the famous Okavango Delta. Every Year the delta is flooded due to the Northern rains in Angola. Between June and August the flood is at its peak. During these dry winter months, the delta swells to three times its permanent size, attracting animals from miles around and creating one of Africa’s largest concentrations of wildlife. 


Chobe national Park

Botswana's first National Park

Chobe National Park is Botswana’s first national park and its third largest. The park is widely known for having large population of elephant and buffalo. In Chobe one can see lion that prey on African Elephants. The elephant population is estimated to be around 50.000 individuals! 


Moremi Game Reserve

Named after Chief Moremi of the BaTawana Tribe

Home to nearly 500 species of bird and a vast array of other species. In the Moremi Game Reserve one can experience excellent views of Savannah game including Buffalo, Angolan Giraffe and Rhinoceros. The thickly woodland areas in the reserve are home to the endangered cape wild dog and leopard.   


Central Kalahari

The second largest game reserve in the world

The bushman, or San, are nomadic hunters that have inhabited the Central Kalahari Game Reserve for thousands of years. Many of the river valleys in the park are now fossilized salt pans. Four fossilized rivers cross through the reserve, one of which is Deception Valley, which began to form approx. 16.000 years ago.
