Leisurely drive up to Savuti which is part of the Chobe National Park, the first ever national park in Botswana where the wildlife sightings are particularly dynamic. The area covers almost 4 200mi2 (10 878km2) of northern Botswana. The Magwikhwe sand ridge and the desolate Savuti marsh at the end of the Savuti channel are all that remains of the once great lake that covered much of northern Botswana. The Savuti region is an exceptional area for bird watching. Among the diverse species are the Admin Stalk, Kori Bustards, Large Secretary Birds and many others.
